This one was started whilst waiting for my car to be seen to; continued over lunch, and then finished in the evening. My first play with Reaktor for a little while; this is a drone consisting of a whole bunch of sine waves — either generating sound, or controlling chorus, delays, panning, levels. Most of the periods of the sines are primes or prime-related, so that the piece has a very long duration - this is just a 20 minute excerpt from the start…

(obviously the Reaktor patch is modular - the screen shot only shows the top level)

Since 2000 John Tuffen has been performing/releasing electronic music under the name of namke communications. Originally formed with Damian Murphy in 2000 for the SightSonic festival in York, since 2002 it has been a solo venture.
