This piece was created for an art exhibition - "Brief Moments of Sanity" - held by Harry Davies and Renata Wright in Perth (Western Australia). The music was based on two paintings in the exhibition which - in turn - were based on the same piece of music (unknown to this composer at the time of writing).

The piece consists of 9 separate layers of guitar, all first-take, and recorded in three passes (three tracks per pass).

Equipment: Fender Mustang, Ebow, homebuilt fuzz, Native Instruments Reaktor.

Recorded on Yamaha AW1600.
Final mix-down in Garageband.

released September 8, 2013
Inspiration: H. Davies/R. Wright.
