This week has been a bit mad for some reason, so this week's track is right down to the wire — Sunday evening…

Recorded into Logic again, trying to match the sort of effects I had on the mixer (not the same, but close enough). Raum and Replika from Native instruments supplying reverb and delay respectively.

I felt pretty uninspired when I started this, thinking I'd end up throwing down a drone or something. However, I started playing with the x0xb0x, programmed a simple arpeggio + variations, then used 'chain' to sequence them for some automated variation. TR606 ticking along (not the patterns I had planned, but happy accidents perhaps? Dark Energy triggered from the 606 providing an anchoring pulse. Played in some top-lines on the SH-2 (slightly reminiscent of some dimly-remembered Brian Eno?).

Quietly pleased with how it's turned out…
