Week 31 sees a slightly modified orchestra, and a bit of an epic slab of audio:

* Tangible Waves' AEModular with experimental matrix mixer
* Sennheiser e912

This piece is in three sections, recorded on different days. Sections 1 & 3 are calm drones, but with a bit more external activity captured through the mic; Section 2 is more complex electronically, but outside it's calm.

A matrix mixer is used in Sections 1 & 3 to mix and manipulate three different modulation sources (2 LFOs and 1 re-triggering envelope) in order to change VCA levels and filter cutoffs with different combinations of those sources. The matrix mixer is used in Section 2 in order to manipulate the audio signal itself; feeding back and combining things in hopefully interesting ways.

The track was assembled within Logic Pro X and there is a *tiny* amount of reverb added to give a little space to the mix.

Personally this week has been rather down, however trying to get out of the house more seems to be arresting that trend.

The world is, however, still on fire.
