I fix stuff. I buy broken things, apply knowledge/skill and make them work again.

This collection is made from two such items:
• a Doepfer Dark Energy II semi-modular synthesiser which required the replacement of its VCA chip;
• a Yamaha FX500 which required the repair of multiple broken solder joints, a new power switch and a replacement battery - it had had a rough time.

If you read this stuff, and have broken musical devices get in touch. I'd rather see them brought back to life than go toward a skip…

Since 2000 John Tuffen has been performing/releasing electronic music under the name of namke communications. Originally formed with Damian Murphy in 2000 for the SightSonic festival in York, since 2002 it has been a solo venture.
